Domestic Hot Water Flow Analysis

Service Description

Flow and Energy Metering Service Barrett Consulting will set up an ultrasonic flow meter and data recorder to record the flow measurements of the domestic hot water system, for a 1-week interval. We will measure the inlet cold water temperature and outlet hot water temperature. Barrett Consulting will generate a report providing a graph that will show the system load profile and temperature profiles. A summary of the min and max flows, the total water consumed, and thermal loads will be provided in the report. Visits (2): The 1st visit is to set up the equipment, the 2nd visit is to reclaim the equipment and data. The client should provide access to the mechanical room per visit. Barrett Consulting will provide all tools necessary for the installation. A few small sections of pipe insulation will be cut and removed during the measurement period. These pieces of insulation will be replaced and taped after testing.
