My method

Dissolving the Mess
Do you have a problem, or do you have a mess? A problem has one solution. A mess is a system of interacting problems. A mess requires synthesis - the ability to step back and see the system of interacting problems. Experience and systems thinking are required to dissolve a mess.
Do you want to solve your problem or do you want to dissolve it? A solution will solve a problem when it occurs, but it will not always prevent it from occurring again. If you dissolve the problem, you eliminate it from occurring in the future by design. My goal is to dissolve problems when possible.
